Serves 20 ppl
Ingredients:
- Four (4) cans of Bush's Grilling Beans (22oz)
- 1/4 lb. smoked brisket, flat chopped (we used cooked bacon seasoned with a sweet KC rub)
- 1/2 cup sweet onion, diced
- Two (2) tbsp. yellow mustard
- Two (2) tbsp. chili powder
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sorghum or molasses
- 1/2 cup KC style bbq sauce (sweet)
Directions:
- Prep your smoker at 325 degrees
- Add sweet onions, mustard, chili powder, brown sugar, molasses, bbq sauce and cooked brisket/bacon to a smoker safe pot. Mix well.
- Add the beans with all ot their juices (it's important not to drain the beans)
- Stir well and smoke uncovered for 1 1/2 hours
- Enjoy!
