Crispy Shrimp Tacos

Serves approx. 3-4 ppl.

Shrimp Ingredients:

  • Thirty (30) uncooked large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 ½ cups panko breadcrumbs
  • Two (2) large egg whites
  • One (1) tbsp fat-free milk
  • Three (3) tbsp all-purpose flour
  • Three (3) tsp seafood seasoning
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • Pice de gallo, to garnish
  • Chopped cilantro, to garnish


Shrimp Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Place breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl
  • Combine egg whites and milk in another shallow bowl
  • Combine flour, seafood seasoning, salt and pepper in yet another shallow bowl
  • Dip shrimp in the flour mixture, egg mixture then breadcrumbs
  • Place shrimp on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray
  • Spritz shrimp with cooking spray
  • Bake for 8-12 minutes or until shrimp turn pink and coating is golden brown, turning once
  • Serve on tortilla with pico de gallo and chopped cilantro
